So our old mate Jack Reading has been over in the slovenian slop racing his first world cup on one of our sports classic tracks. With an impressive qualifying time putting him in 45th place we were all understandably stoked for todays race.
I had a wee chat with him yesterday and pointed out that he had been beaten by some brits that we both know he can beat. He told me that he had a good, albeit conservertive run and rekons he has got more speed in him.
So fast forward to today, I couldnt get freecaster working in the shop but spent a while sat in the managers chair refreshing the live timing table, much to the boss’ delight. Peaty? Bugger, must have crashed…..wonder if its starting to rain, some of the top quali’s are not slotting into the top spots.
Just watched it now and I must say we need Wharner back for this, Scott just didn’t do it for me. Just a bit anoying when the commentator isnt 100% sure on the facts he is stating, the words ‘I think’ were utterd too much for my liking.Starting to rant, sorry.
Jack, why did you lie down neer the end?
But really, good work on 60th jack. Im so happy you qualified on your first worldcup as, lets be honest, we didn’t really know where you were gonna’ fit in here. Could have been 2oth or 100th for all we knew. So well bloody done.
Stokes over and out.
